If the return contains outstanding review messages, a warning displays at the top of the pane. Click on the link to jump to the Review message list and resolve them.
At the top of the Print sidebar, you will see all the print sets available to print with a TP1 return:
Client copy, T1 EFILE and Office copy—These are the default print sets for the T1 return. They only contain federal-related forms and letters.
TP1 NetFile copy—Contains TP1 forms you must submit to Revenu Québec after filing the TP1 return by NetFile. Some of these forms must also be signed by the taxpayer.
TP1 Office copy—TP1 forms to print and keep in your records for your practice.
TP1 Client copy—TP1 forms and summaries to print and give to your client.
Revenu Québec copy—Keying summaries and forms to send to Revenu Québec if you are paper filing a return. (Only shows if you are paper filing a TP1 return.)
Each print set can output to its own printer or document type. Quickly print set by clicking on the icon on the right.
TaxCycle determines which print sets to print based on which forms are used and the condition associated with the print set in Print options. Check the sets you want to print. If you check or uncheck a selected print set, a blue asterisk indicates you have overridden the default. Click on the asterisk to revert to the default print set.
To change print and output settings, click the edit... link. For a full list of these settings, see the Printer and PDF output options. When paper-filing, Revenu Québec requires full SIN or BN on all TP1 forms. To comply with these requirements, TaxCycle will automatically disregard any masking set in this option unless the form or return was already filed electronically.
Click the wrench icon to open Print options for all returns.
The list of forms at the bottom displays in the order the forms will be printed, grouped by print set. TaxCycle decides which forms appear in the list based on what is used in the return and what is configured for each print set. See the "Choose which forms to print" section in the Print/PDF a tax return help topic.
When you're ready, click the Print Selected button. Printing always occurs in the background, so as soon as you set the job going, you can move on to other work.
