Slips Transmission Results and History

Updated: 2025-01-16

Once you complete the upload your slips and summaries and close the window, you will return to the main TaxCycle window. The instructions below will show you where you can see the status of all transmission attempts via Internet File Transfer (XML) and see the XML sent to the CRA.

Transmission Results

The box in the Transmit sidebar changes after a transmission attempt:

  1. A green happy face appears to indicate a successful transmission (which for slips is tracked by entering a submission number).
  2. The box also contains the confirmation number.
  3. To see the full results of the successful transmission, click the Internet filing results link to open the Internet worksheet.
  4. To transmit Amended or Cancelled slips, click Dismiss and start again.
  5. If you see a purple question mark, then you either did not complete the transmission, or you did not enter Submission number before closing the transmission window. If you printed or saved the confirmation page, you can record the submission number manually. Otherwise, you will need to contact the CRA to confirm the filing status.
  6. If the return was not successfully filed, click Dismiss and start again to restart the process.
