TaxFolder Update (March 14, 2024)

On March 14, 2024, we deployed an update to TaxFolder that includes the following improvements and fixes to customer-reported issues.

Enhancements

  • New! The Preparer Dashboard is now fully available in French. Please contact our support team if you find any missing translations.
  • Added support for signature requests in client engagements with more than one signer to show which of the signers has completed the signature request and which requests are still pending. Screen Capture: Status of Approvals and Signatures in TaxFolder
  • Customer Reported Added support for Sage backup (.CAB) file upload in the Client Files section of the engagement.

Resolved Issues

  • RESOLVED: TaxFolder Connect a Client or Team Member Error
  • Resolved an issue where the “Ready for Processing” notification did not trigger for the preparer when the client clicked the “I’m finished” button in the Client Portal.
  • Resolved an issue where clients received a 500 error when trying to sign a document where the assigned preparer was deleted after the document was sent.
  • Fixed the icon colour for new client files uploaded to the engagement.
  • Fixed an issue where preparers were directed to the “Select your profile” page when signing into TaxFolder and there was only one profile.
  • Added additional error handling where geo-permissions block SMS in some high-risk foreign countries.
  • Fixed an issue where SMS was not triggering for foreign phone numbers that are one digit shorter.
