As of September 26, 2024, the CRA has resolved this issue.
We have been informed by the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) that their transmission system is experiencing a timeout issue, which is causing an error when attempting to electronically file T1 or T2 returns. Additionally, attempts to download data using T1 and T2 AFR (Auto-fill My Return (AFR)) are also failing.
The CRA is currently working on a fix. However, they do not have an ETA on when this issue will be resolved. We will keep you updated as soon as we receive more information from the CRA.
