What services do you offer?

We are an accounting, bookkeeping and tax services firm for individuals and small businesses. There are three of us during tax season and together we file nearly 700 returns for self-employed workers, including approximately 50 T2/CO-17 returns.

Useful Training and Features.

Initially, it was the price that made me choose TaxCycle. Changing tax software is not something you do lightly, especially when you're not a very "techie" person. However, I saw the potential to save time.

I started using the software in January during the busy tax season, so it took a while to use TaxCycle to its full potential. The Fall training session helped me learn all the features of TaxCycle and my productivity improved as I used the software to track my files. I also like being able to access the next year’s software for planning and estimation purposes.

What concerns did you have about switching?

It was difficult to get support with my old tax software. I was afraid I’d run into the same issues, such as the amount of time it took to get answers, and getting wrong answers. But with TaxCycle, the customer support is so fast and efficient! There’s no way I’d ever go back!

Does TaxCycle meet the requirements of Québec tax filing?

Yes! Some situations are less obvious, such as pre and post-bankruptcies. However, for the usual stuff, it’s amazing. As a matter of fact, a new employee used to working with other software for nearly 30 years, was very impressed with TaxCycle. She said "Wow", it's going really well. She found it uncluttered, easy to understand and to create and complete returns.

Are you more productive?

Yes! It’s night and day. It’s so easy to use, nothing is complicated. The software is reliable and fast. It’s a matter of taking the time to configure your preferences and after that, you really save a lot of time. Along with authorizations, the Auto-fill my return (AFR) also increases my productivity. It's wonderful!
